Yet another late-night time present has long gone darkish. Showtime has cancelled the Ziwe Tv set collection immediately after two seasons.
Debuting in May 2021, the selection/sketch chat collection was established by its star, comic Ziwe Fumudoh. Episodes characteristic interviews, musical quantities, visitor stars, sketches, and unscripted interactions with every day persons. The initial year of 6 episodes aired on Sunday evenings, and the premiere highlighted Fran Lebowitz, Gloria Steinem, Cristin Milioti, Jane Krakowski, and Cole Escola.
Ziwe was renewed for a second season soon immediately after the initial season’s finale aired. “This show has exceeded my wildest imagination thanks to my brilliant cast, crew, and iconic guests,” claimed Fumudoh. “I am famously delighted to continue my collaboration with Showtime and A24.”
The 12-episode year aired in 2022 and wrapped on Xmas Working day. With the show’s cancellation, Showtime seems to be out of the late-night time chat present company. The Desus & Mero collection ended last year, and Fumudoh experienced been between its writers.
Other Showtime reveals that have been cancelled not too long ago include things like American Gigolo, King Shaka (getting shopped), The L Word: Generation Q, Let the Right One In, and Three Women (picked up by Starz).
