Mindy Kaling and Charlie Grandy are bringing a new, modernized model of Velma — and the rest of the Scooby Gang — to HBO Max in 2023, and provided their appreciate for the primary sequence, it seems to be in superior fingers.
Velma‘s Kaling (who also voices the titular character) and Grandy sat down with Damian Holbrook in Television Insider and Television Guideline Journal‘s studio at New York Comic Con 2022 to go over the new sequence and obtaining the likelihood to engage in with these legendary figures.
Both equally grew up looking at the primary Scooby Doo, and so “it’s such a joy to be able to work with those characters,” Kaling mentioned, introducing how grateful they are to Hanna Barbera and Warner Bros.
